Cruise ship doctors enjoy a competitive compensation package, with senior doctors earning between $10,000 and $15,000 per month. To qualify as a cruise doctor, you must possess three years of emergency room experience, some general practitioner experience, and specific training in advanced life support techniques. Most cruise ships carry at least one doctor and two nurses, with larger vessels sailing with two doctors and three to four nurses.
